About the Ohio Junior Chamber

You are about to experience an “Extreme Makeover” like you have never seen before! I have gathered the best leaders from throughout the state of Ohio. We (your Executive Team) have already put in long hours getting ready for 2010. I am very excited by the strength and determination that they have already shown – and the year hasn’t even “officially” begun yet! First we are going to start with the demolition – out with the old. We are going to tear off the roof and walls. We are going to look at what we need to do to be a successful organization. We together with you our local members – are going to plan the organization that we want to have, this will be our blue print for 2010. Our first step to this is LOTS (Local Officers Training) which will be held in Columbus this year. I encourage you all to attend. We are planning some WONDERFUL training! This is going to be where we lay out the foundation for our new state! It is very important that all local members are there. We will work hard to establish a team! The best part of this is – YOU are a VERY IMPORTANT part of our TEAM.

We cannot make these changes without your input. You do not have to be currently holding a leadership position within your chapter. The Vice President’s and myself are working very hard at providing you with quality training. We have scheduled LOTS to be held after Leadership Academy. We want to make sure we provide you with the most updated information from the US Jaycees. Our next step will be February Year End Convention! This is where we will celebrate our accomplishments from 2009 and continue our training into 2010. The Chillicothe Jaycees are working very hard to ensure that you have a GREAT time and receive some OUTSTANDING training! They are working with several trainers from their community. They cannot wait to show off their community! I sincerely hope that you will take a weekend to come celebrate with us! Both fourth quarter and year end awards will be given out. Also, you will be able to see YOUR 2010 Executive Team be sworn in! It should be a weekend that will be hard to forget! I am very excited for this year to begin! Working together WE CAN and WILL build a BETTER and STRONGER OHIO!
