Contest Rules
Rules: Anyone between the ages of 18 and 40 inclusive and a U.S. resident, that joins The United States Junior Chamber (JAYCEES) during this campaign will be entered into a drawing to win one trip for two individuals to an all inclusive Caribbean resort. The trip includes a 5 night stay, airfare, transportation from the airport to the resort and back to the departing airport. “All inclusive” will be as defined by the resort, and will likely be subject to some exclusions. Additional inclusions may be possible at time of trip confirmation, but are not guaranteed. Location will be to either Bahamas or Jamaica depending on open dates chosen by the contest recipient.
Promotion may be extended or ended at anytime but will be complete no later than December 31, 2010. All entries received or postmarked after October 22, 2010 but prior to the day after the contest end date will be considered valid for the drawing.
Contest does not apply to existing members of The United States Junior Chamber or paid employees. The trip must be completed between January 1, 2011 and March 15, 2011. No refunds of membership dues will be given, and please note that membership dues are not tax deductible. Decisions of the Jaycees regarding eligibility are final. If prize notification letter is returned as undeliverable or a waiver and release is not returned by both travelers within the required time period, prize will be awarded to an alternate winner. The Jaycees reserve the right to provide for a substitute prize(s) of equivalent value if any of the prizes cannot be delivered. Taxes and other costs of travel are the responsibility of the winner.
By entering the drawing, you agree and acknowledge that, as a condition precedent to booking the trip and receiving any prize(s), all travelers will be required to verify eligibility sign a waiver and release relieving the Jaycees and its officers, employees, members, and vendors from any and all liability associated with the drawing, the travel, any activities during the travel, acts or omissions of any transportation company or hotel and their agents and employees, and weather, acts of god, labor strikes, acts of war or terrorist acts, and other acts outside of the control of the Jaycees; and travelers shall also grant the Jaycees the right to use their names and photos in promotional materials (print and electronic) for the Jaycees without additional compensation or permission, except where prohibited by law.
No purchase necessary: Eligible persons within the ages of 18 and 40 only may also enter the contest without joining the Jaycees by mailing a sheet of paper with your name, address, phone number, birth date and email address hand written, along with a self-addressed stamped envelope, in a sealed envelope (no postcards) with sufficient postage to: U.S. Jaycees, 7447 S Lewis Ave Tulsa, OK 74136-6808. Limit one entry per person, and one entry per envelope, and computer-generated entries will not be accepted. The Jaycees will not be responsible for lost, misdirected or late mail.
